Paint Like a Girl Build Brief
Let's Play Office Build Brief · October 2026

Paint Like a Girl, Inc.

Your work is already real. Students are in school, schools have books and bathrooms, and a team in Kapalong shows up every week. This brief is how we set up the office behind that work, one phase at a time.

1 · We Heard You

I Will Sponsor You Through College

Your Promise, the Day Paint Like a Girl Began

On a dirt road through the banana fields, three young women told you they had finished high school years ago with no one to sponsor them through college. You heard yourself answer before you had a plan.

Your Mission, in Your Words

Empowering students through education, support, and fun-filled fellowship.

  • Faith in God's Promises
  • Unconditional Love and Acceptance
  • Family Beyond Biology
  • Healing Through Connection
  • Serving With Purpose and Grace

You told us belonging comes first for anyone coming out of poverty, and that you let the young people lead. That shapes how we'll build: your team runs it, and the system makes their work easier to see.

2 · Where Things Stand Today

The Work Is Strong, but the Office Hasn't Caught Up Yet

This is what happens when the work grows faster than anyone planned, and it's exactly the gap we're here to close.

Website

paintlikeagirlinc.org has lapsed and is available for anyone to register. Your Facebook page still links to it, so visitors who click land nowhere. The new website will change that.

Giving

There is no donate button anywhere yet. For three years, the funding has come from personal funds.

Records

Letters, school documents, and partner records live on paper. They're your strongest proof, and hard to share or search today. We'll bring them online so they're easy to find and share, with a printed copy available whenever you need one.

Your Story

Your Facebook page carries the story today, with 308 followers. Many posts are shared from team members' personal profiles, so the originals live on their accounts instead of on Paint Like a Girl's. Facebook can also change its rules or remove content at any time. Your website will be the one place every program under Paint Like a Girl lives on ground you own, making it your most powerful asset after your funding and your team.

3 · How it All Connects

How Your Work Comes Full Circle

Your team serves schools and families. Your website and social media tell that story, and supporters and grants give. Their giving funds more service, and the circle starts again. Each phase in the roadmap below builds one piece of this circle.

The Paint Like a Girl circle Your team serves schools and families. Your website and social media tell the story. Supporters and grants give. And the giving funds more service, which brings the circle back to the start. 6 · How We Work Together

Everyone Has a Role

Kim

Vision and Approvals

You decide what goes out publicly, and you approve each phase before it starts.

Your Team

The Work and the Story

Photos, video, and updates from Kapalong. The people closest to the work tell it.

Latrice

Office Curator & Creative Director

Designs and builds the website and back office, and leads every walkthrough.

Zoei

Relationship & Grants Coordinator

Stays close to you and the team, keeps communication moving, and supports grant writing.

Your team stays on Messenger. Walkthroughs happen live on Google Meet or Zoho Meeting, with recordings you can watch again. Sunday calls work well, since everyone is together after church.

Everything we build is yours, your accounts and your records.

Beyond the Seven Phases

What We Heard You Dreaming About

These aren't priced or planned yet. They're here so you know none of it was missed, and so the office we build has room for them.
